Welcome to the Stitch Niche. We carry a wide variety of name brand yarns and supplies, Crochet Hooks and accessories. Plus all 450 shades of Embroidery Floss including the variegated colors as well as the metallic’s. Individually Handmade Items are available, Click on the Green Button “Handmade” to view the items. We are always making new things so check back often. There will be hat, scarves, baby items, etc. Additional items available are Cross Stitch Kits and Patterns. Also Needlepoint Canvases and Needlepoint kits. Some sewing supplies and other crafts. Some of our yarn suppliers are Plymouth, Berroco, Knitting Fever, Dark Horse, Universal, Skacel. The shop is not big enough to carry every yarn from every supplier, special orders do not scare us. If it’s available and from one of our suppliers, we will be happy to order it for you.

The Grumbles House Antiques & Garden Shop, on the corner of Walnut & Cedar Streets, is a great place to spend a couple of hours sipping raspberry tea and wandering through the 102 year old former home of the Grumbles family. See the 5 fireplaces, hear the stories of the boomtown era and enjoy the hospitality of long time Dunnellon residents who are glad you stopped by.
Inside, enjoy architecture, the antiques, the home decor and gift lines. In addition, our vendors: Azzie’s Attic, Carol’s Gifts & Antiques, Danny’s Antiques, Keszia ‘Crafty Girl’, Melanie’s ‘Lavender Creek Boutique’, Mary’s County Cupboard, Retro Rita, and The Sojka’s provide a wide variety of vintage, antique and repurposed items. Outside, meander the plant lined paths to pick out a birdbath or fountain for your garden and learn about native plants and what’s growing well in our gardens from our well informed staff. We now have eight vendors, which add even more interest to our shop. We specialize in Antiques, Shabby Chic, Vintage and even carry a few new items for those that don’t care for the old.
